Contents page research

To produce the contents page for my college magazine, I first researched various other magazine contents pages to give me ideas. I chose these 2 contents pages to look at as they are both simple yet effective. I like 'contents' masthead of the left one as it is unique and original which I think is essential for a magazine to be. This inspires me to create my masthead in the same way. I also like the layout with the contents list and masthead at the right hand side and picture on the left as it is looks more simple and modern. On the left magazine contents page, the list is set out clearly with titles and numbers in a bigger font the to rest of the list, making it easy to read. This gives me the idea of creating my contents list in a similar way.
